Volunteering and Student Placements

Volunteers are an asset to the community, and together we build stronger, inclusive and resilient communities.

Volunteers offer skills and strengths that support local activities, which in turn enables community based organisations like DBNC to achieve our goals on limited funding.

If you’re interested in volunteering at DBNC please contact us to have a chat about what areas you’d like to be involved in. We’ll then invite you for an interview to talk in more detail about working together.

All staff at DBNC (including volunteers) required a blue card and must comply with centre policies and procedures.

Student Placement

DBNC has student placements available each semester for university students that are looking for workplace experience to complete their course.

Please contact the Director if you’d like to discuss a student placement at the centre.
